Self-report a cyber harassment or cyber crime committed against you or a close one.

Report Online Harassment

you can easily access the online self-report form to report instances of harassment, including gender-based violence, as well as other cybercrimes. Takes 7+ minutes.

You are not alone. Many people who are online are impacted by online harassment which is gender-based violence, and we want to do something about it. Your story helps us document what’s happening in our communities, raise awareness, develop resources, and advocate for solutions to put an end to online harassment geared toward women.

The purpose of the Cyber Protector’s Reporting Center is to monitor and document gender-based violence in the online setting to understand what is happening in our communities and to advocate for community resources and effective solutions. We do not provide immediate assistance or direct services. If you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 911. Note that calling 911 may put you in direct contact with law enforcement.

All stories are anonymous unless you consent for us to share with others. This may or may not include sharing your story with elected officials and their staff, researchers, community organizations, government entities, the press, or through Cyber Protectors reports and communications. We will never share any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or other information that allows people to identify you.

The information you share will be analyzed and publicly reported at a general level (such as the percentage of hate acts that involve online harassment). Any personally identifying information (such as your name, email address, phone number) will be kept confidential and will never be shared with law enforcement or any third party without your consent. We understand these topics are difficult to talk about, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences. Thank you.
